Needingworth II vs Bar Hill - CCA League
Bar Hill won the toss and elected to bowl. There were early frustrations in the field as the Needingworth put on the runs. A change of bowling meant the wickets began to fall with both openers falling in one over. Wickets were taken at regular intervals after this. Sam Clare was the pick of the bowlers with 4-27. Martin Haslop took 2-16 and Tom Page 2-29 as Needingworth totalled 153 all out. Bar Hill's reply looked to be maintaining the required run rate with the loss of few wickets, with Sam Wilson scoring 37 and Phil Orvis hitting a quick 31. However, the lack of batting depth showed as the last 6 wickets fell for just 22 runs with Bar Hill ending on 122 all out. Despite suffering our first CCA league loss of the season, fellow title challengers Wilburton II also suffered a loss, setting up a key match on 19th August.
Girton II vs Bar Hill - CCA League
Bar Hill arrived at Girton on an overcast day with rain threatening. Before any play could occur, the heavens opened and torrential rain ensued making the ground unplayable.
Bar Hill vs Cambridge NCI IV - CCA League
Bar Hill made it 11 wins out of 11 when they played NCI. Bar Hill won the toss and bowled first on an overcast day threatened by rain. Bar Hill bowled well, limiting NCI to 64 all out, with Sam Wilson (4-16) the pick of the bowlers, followed by Sam Clare (3-27) and Phil Orvis (2-5). Adam Dean (1-16) also took his 200th wicket for the club, placing him 4th on the all time wicket takers list for Bar Hill. Sam Clare opened the batting with the target of scoring a fifty. This was easily achieved, scoring 59 of the 69-0 score posted in reply in just 7.2 overs.
Abbots Ripton vs Bar Hill - CCA League
Abbots Ripton were unable to field a team, so the Bar Hill won the game as a walkover.
St Ives Town III vs Bar Hill Vs - CCA League
Bar Hill strolled to victory against St Ives after setting a total of 209-6 off their 40 overs. Peter Stockton (38) and Andy Buller (15) shared a opening stand of 58, before Paul Stimpson scored 58 on his own, sharing in partnership of 69 with Phil Orvis (39*). Bar Hill swiftly dismissed the St Ives batsmen who totalled just 23 all out with wickets for Tom Page (2-15) and Scott Underhay (2-4). The most notable bowling performance was a stunning spell from Phil Orvis who bowled 4 overs without conceeding a run to end with figures of 3-0.

Bar Hill made it 7 wins out of 7 in an exciting game against Longstanton. Bar Hill batted first and with notable scores of 74 for Nathan Dean and 37 for Adam Dean, Bar Hill set a total of 191 all out. Bar Hill then battled well in the field, with Sam Wilson taking 4-13 from his overs, backed up by Nathan Dean also taking three wickets. The match came to a thrilling conclusion when a ninth wicket partnership of 51 for Longstanton left them requiring 12 to win from the last wicket. The match was ended when Scott Underhay ran out the number 11 meaning Bar Hill won by 9 runs.

Bar Hill gained victory in their first midweek game of the season in a home tie against Bluntisham. Bar Hill toiled in the field as Bluntisham amassed 169-5 in their 15 overs. Jamie Armit took 2 wickets, and David Underhay and Jake Curry took a run out each. Bar Hill snatched victory reaching 172-4 with 7 balls to spare. Sam Clare smashed an amazing 126 not out, sharing a partnership of 114 with Peter Stockton (15).
Bar Hill continued their unbeaten run in the league with a comphrensive win over Willingham. Bar Hill invited Willingham to bat, and scoring proved difficult as Bar Hill's bowlers were extremely economical. The pick of the bowlers for wicket-taking were Sam Wilson 3-9, Sam Clare 3-11 and Scott Underhay 2-9. Willingham totalled 67 all out. Bar Hill took just 10.5 overs to reach 69-2, with Sam Clare scoring 53.
Unfortunately, Bar Hill were unable to field two teams this weekend, so had to default the cup game against Over.
Bar Hill completed their 4th successive league win, beating Madingley II. After a delayed start as the home team had no stumps, bails, scoreboard or boundary markers, Bar Hill claimed the toss and chose to bowl first. Being short of several normal players, Bar Hill turned to the additional player list, and acquired the services of Andy Buller, who offered to keep wicket, and proved his worth with 3 catches. Tom Page (2-36 in 8 overs) and Scott Underhay (2-29 in 7 overs) took two wickets each. Madingley reached a total of 149 for 8 wickets off 40 overs. Bar Hill reached their target with almost ten overs to spare with 150-5 in 31.3 overs. Sam Clare was again the top scoring batsman, scoring 61. The other batsmen of note were Andy Buller who scored 33 and Nathan Dean who scored 24.
Bar Hill continued their winning run in the league with victory over Haddenham. Bar Hill won the toss and chose to bowl first. Haddenham made slow progress in reaching 87 all out off 31.3 overs in rather wet conditions. Sam Wilson achieved a five-wicket haul with figures of of 5-30 off 7.3 overs, with Sam Clare taking 4-18 off his 8 overs. Bar Hill reached their target with 89-3 in just 16.1 overs. Sam Clare hit 32. The other players to reach double figures were Adam Dean (15) and Chris Howse (10 not out).
Bar Hill continued their good start to the season by beating Cottenham II. Choosing to bowl first, Bar Hill took wickets at regular intervals as Cottenham reached 175 all out off 39 overs. Sam Clare achieved figures of 3-27 off his 8 overs, with Tom Page (2-12) and Nathan Dean (2-44) taking 2 wickets apiece. Bar Hill reached their target in 26.5 overs, with the loss of just two wickets, 176-2. Adam Dean carried his bat for a total of 61 not out, sharing partnerships of 67 with Peter Stockton (21) and 99 with Sam Clare (75 off 38 balls).
Bar Hill started the season with a win over Isleham II. Having won the toss and chosen to bowl, Bar Hill restricted their visitors to 101 all out. Scott Underhay, on his league debut for Bar Hill took 3-14, Sam Clare 3-15 and Sam Wilson 2-15. In reply, Bar Hill took just 14.2 overs to reach their target. Sam Clare hit a magnificent 71 not out off just 27 balls, including 7 sixes and 6 fours, and Tom Yewbrey scored 19 not out as Bar Hill reached 103-2.
